The Grace Dart Foundation Donates $100,000 To Westmount’s Contactivity Centre To Open A New Day Program for Older Adults.

Montreal, September 18, 2025 – Today, the Grace Dart Foundation is proud to announce that it is donating $100,000 to Contactivity Centre, located in Westmount, Quebec, to open a new Day Program for Older Adults Navigating Mild Cognitive Changes. This innovative program is thoughtfully designed to provide stimulating programming, meaningful connections and caregiver respite. The Program will be offered three-days-a-week from 10 am – 3 pm, and provide a wide array of programming including music, art and movement, hands-on activities, opportunities for social connection, engaging daily rhythm and support for caregivers.

Founded in 1978, Contactivity Centre is non-profit community organization located in Westmount that provides social, educational, fitness, wellness, and intergenerational programs for older adults. Their programming is designed to break isolation, foster connections, encourage engagement, and create a warm, friendly environment for seniors. They are open to any senior regardless of where they live. Members highly value their courses, programs, celebrations, etc. For many, they are their family, especially those without family living in Quebec.
