The Grace Dart Foundation Launches its 2022 Annual Giving Campaign

The Grace Dart Foundation is proud to announce that it has launched its 2022 Annual Giving Campaign to raise funds for the elderly in the Greater Montreal Area. Your donation helps grassroots and forward-thinking organizations in new and innovative ways. Our aging population is the responsibility of our community. Trust the Grace Dart Foundation to seek out and support not-for-profit organizations that thrive with our funding. 

Over the last three years, $6.9 million was donated to over 85 organizations in the Greater Montreal area.

The Grace Dart Foundation’s funding of projects is anchored in its five areas of giving: Basic Needs – Loneliness and Isolation – Socialization and Personal Development Cognitive Disorders – Living Environment. 

“Your donation will fund projects that cater to the needs of seniors in a variety of ways” said Elise Nesbitt, President and Chair of the Board of Directors. Here are a few notable examples: supporting local community organizations such as the Contactivity Centre, which provides programs and services to seniors with activities designed to nourish the mind, body, and soul of adults 60+. In addition to the Atwater Library and Computer Centre which uses the Grace Dart Foundation’s funding to build on its strengths by providing digital technology training and support to seniors. Through its well-loved Connect Project, the library conducts over 100 free digital literacy group activities a year.
