Foundation Coordinator

The Grace Dart Foundation is a not-for-profit organization. Its mission is to bring Love & Care to the elderly population in the Greater Montreal Area. For detailed information, please consult the website: www.fondationgracedart.org

Reporting directly to the President of the Foundation, the successful candidate will perform administrative duties and be involved with the philanthropic development under the direction of the Chair of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Main Responsibilities

    • Organize Board and all other meetings and ensure logistics (e-mail invitations, printing of documents, etc.). Keep and draft the minutes.

    • Work with the Donor Perfect program and increase donations, and manage subsequent receipts and reports required by the Board, accountant, and auditors.

    • Perform updates (governments, company registrar, committees, board of directors, website, etc.).

    • Act as a point of contact for internal and external partners and attend some events.

    • Maintain administrative records and manage the Foundation’s day-to-day activities.

    • Manage the Foundation’s accounting, in collaboration with the Foundation’s accountant (Quickbooks).

    • Manage all contact lists.

    • Update and maintain office policies and procedures.

    • Manage, in association with the public relations agency, the Foundation’s website and social media accounts, in compliance with established standards.

    • Keep the office premises in order and any other related duties.

Requirements and Skills

    • 10 years of administrative experience

    • Relevant university education or equivalent experience

    • Ability to communicate both spoken and written French and English

    • Ability to learn and adapt to change.

    • Proficiency in Office suite, Donor Perfect platform

    • Knowledge of Quickbooks an asset.
